Club Goals
To be a club that can offers swimming to all swimmers; from learn
to swim to Olympic Champions and World Record holders. Our
objectives are to teach swimmers about goal setting, personal
excellence, teamwork, to make friendships that last a lifetime and
above all to have FUN!
About Us
Langley Olympians Swim Club was formed in January of 1997 to offer
the community of Langley a swim club that would offer swimmers a
chance to swim year round and pursue swimming at it’s highest
level. LOSC offers NCCP professionally certified coaches lead by
the Director of Swimming and Head Coach Brian Metcalfe. We offer
progressive instruction in a positive learning environment. LOSC
teaches life skills that go hand and hand with swimming skills,
which develops the whole athlete.
LOSC currently has about 160 members from 4 yr. old learn to swim
up to adult swimmers. We swim out of a 50m pool in Walnut Grove and
a 25m pool in Muarryville.
LOSC has become one of the top clubs in BC and Canada thanks to the
coaching staff, parents, and of course the swimmers. Having
swimmers in the top ranks in BC and in Canada are accomplishments
that we are proud of and we will aim to continue to our success at
the World level. LOSC will continue to strive to offer the citizens
of Langley a program that will be quality based and the
opportunities for swimmers to become the best they can be.
Please join us for fun in the pursuit of personal excellence and
Olympians fitness.
